Hotels at Bangkok's Don Muang Domestic Airport

Don Muang Airport is a good location for anyone who prefers to stay on the city outskirts. Close by is Central Ladprao with a massive department store offering all major retailers, cinemas and restaurants. The famous Chatuchak Weekend Market with over 15,000 stalls selling everything from jeans and ceramics, to plants and animals is also within easy reach. A modern Expressway connects this area to all major parts of the city, quickly and conveniently.
The main reason for staying near the airport is to avoid the traffic to and from the city, for despite improvements, traffic can still be horrendous. Time spent sitting in a taxi while on the way to catch a ‘plane, can be very stressful. Hotels also available in the area of Bangkok's International Airport at Surarnbhumi and on the island of Phuket, if departing from that resort.
