Phuket's airport is not far from all the island's hotels, but if an early departure is on the cards, the following airport hotels are the answer.

No need to forego luxury if you are staying at one of Phuket’s Airport Hotels, as Phuket prides itself on offering some of Thailand’s best rooms and suites. All will have internet access, swimming-pools, 2 or 3 restaurants, and often on the beach as the airport is quite close by. Some are even close to the famous Blue Canyon Golf Course. If transiting Bangkok via Suvarnbhumi Airport or Don Muang domestic airport, there are hotels from budget to five star in both these areas.

JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa Phuket, Mai Khao Beach, Phuket – 5 Star

With views of the Andaman Sea and set on edge of Mai Khao Beach the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa is a perfect place to spend the last night of a holiday. The rooms are stylishly appointed and the world class spa and international cuisine ensure that everything is on hand for comfort. Close to Blue Canyon Golf Course, the visitor can even play a final round of golf before checking-out.

Phuket Airport Hotel, Nai Yang Beach, Phuket – 3 Star

This small family-run establishment of ten beautifully decorated and full equipped bungalows facing the small swimming pool, offers very good value. It is only a one-minute drive from Phuket Airport and the beach but because it does not lie under the flight path the noise is minimal. Nai Yang beach is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel to which the owner or one of the hotel staff is usually more than happy to chauffeur guests.

Sala Phuket Resort and Spa, Mai Khao Beach, Phuket 5- Star

Tucked away in a secluded corner of Phuket’s Mai Khao Beach, the Sala Phuket Resort & Spa offers complete privacy. The rooms are designed in old Phuket style, i.e. Sino-Portuguese, and nearly all the rooms, suites and pool villas feature their own private plunge pool. These complement the 3 swimming pools in the resort grounds. Naturally, the food at Sala Phuket Resort & Spa is top-class and the rooftop restaurant is a fantastic place to dine, offering stunning views of the beachfront.

Pearl Village Resort, Nai Yang Beach, Phuket. 4-Star

Separated from Nai Yang Beach by a small road with little traffic and being next to the National Park and a 30-45 minute drive to Phuket Town, Pearl Village Resort is one of the older hotels on the island with a wealth of experience in catering to visitors. The atmosphere is very Thai and the resort blends into it’s unique natural surroundings. It has magnificent tropical gardens, parkland, and a vast beach for year-round safe swimming.
