In Bangkok, business hotels are often similar to 5* hotels, but a hotel dedicated to the business person can lead to a less stressful experience for the traveller.

Doing business in any city can be time consuming and tiring and the busy traveller needs a hotel that has good conference facilities, internet access, phones, laundry, photo copying, courier service and interpreters. High standards of comfort and discreet and quiet staff are essential, as well as an on-site limo service available 24 hours a day.

The Ramada D’Ma in Bangkok is just such a restful hotel, where the business traveller will find everything to help make a trip a successful one.

Where is the Ramada D'Ma Located in Bangkok

In the heart of the business district and shopping areas and close to the Expressway to and from both old and new airports, it is also only a 10-minute walk to the BTS Skytrain station and a 5-minute walk to Pratunam Market.

Transport to Ramada from the Airport

What gives the Ramada D’Ma the edge though, is that it is almost next door to the new City Link Rail Project to the new airport (due to open in early 2009) which will whisk travellers from the airport to the city in less time than it takes by car.

Facilities at the Ramada D'Ma

With five function rooms of differing dimensions, all providing classroom and theatre-style seating and able to cater for buffets and cocktails, the Ramada D’Ma is an excellent bet for the Incentive Trade or the business traveller needing small or large meeting rooms. Projectors, podium with microphone and laser pointer, sound system control, note pads, pencils, slide and overhead projectors, and cassette decks etc. are all provided.

Mobile phones can be rented, colour printing is available up to A3 size, and there is free Wi-Fi Internet access at the poolside on the 8th floor. For the truly rushed executive there is even a parcel wrapping and mailing service available.

To de-stress, the fitness centre is near the poolside with a professional trainer in charge of the gymnasium. There is a sauna (male and female separated) and massage can be had upon request. Business Class floors have an executive lounge for those discreet breakfasts and casual meetings.

Shopping and sightseeing trips can be organized easily from the hotel (the Grand Palace is a mere 6 kms. from the hotel) and the entertainment districts off Sukhamvit Road are not far away.

As part of the 294 rooms and suites the Executive Floors occupy 41 superior rooms, 26 deluxe, 6 deluxe (1 bedroom) and 1 Presidential suite of bedrooms; all of course come with the usual amenities plus a coffee and tea station and individually controlled air-conditioning.
