Its culture, scenery, and charming people are what makes "Amazing Thailand". From metropolitan cities to tranquil beaches, a smiling Thai welcome awaits the visitor.

When it comes to exotic travel, few countries can offer the experiences and exoticism of Thailand. It’s culture, language, regional differences and scenery, have helped make it one of the most popular places in the world for both adventurous travellers and laid back seekers after tranquillity.

Where to go in Thailand

From Bangkok, the Thai capital, to the Northern cities of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai plus the lesser known north eastern province of Isan, down to Krabi and Trang in the south and the perfect islands of Phuket, Samui and Chang, the variety of cultures, life styles and food is amazing – truly Amazing Thailand.

What to Eat in Thailand

Enjoy haute cuisine in classy restaurants or fresh seafood served “as is” in a beach shack, try rustic cooking in mountain hideaways in the north or dine ethnically in the south. Join in cultural festivities in the cities and villages, make merit at the Buddha shrines, and unashamedly enjoy what this wonderful country has to offer.

Be sophisticated and metropolitan in Bangkok where the 5* hotels and eateries rival that on offer in any city in the world, whether you choose to dine on the River of Kings or high in the sky at the Lebua or Sirocco restaurants and bars before sampling the legendary nightlife.

What to do in Thailand

Travel back in time in the hills and mountains of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, spend time with the hill tribes and learn their ways. Live a different life in Isan where everything revolves around the season – the rice season – and sample some of the best cooking in Thailand.

Then lie back on the fabulous beaches of Krabi, Hua Hin or Pattaya, or the famous islands of Phuket, Koh Samui and Chang to unwind and relax.

Thailand is 95% Buddhist with a animistic belief in spirits living side by side with their Buddhism. It is a tolerant religion in a tolerant country and all other religions are accepted and welcomed.
